The Business Intelligence Specialist transforms financial and operational data into actionable insights using Power BI, DAX and advanced analytics tools. This role builds data models and interactive dashboards that help leadership identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and make informed decisions. The specialist delivers clear, high-quality business intelligence to stakeholders across the firm and works with Azure cloud platforms and modern analytics technologies like Fabric to solve complex data challenges that support the firm's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business users to gather requirements and build Power BI solutions, including advanced data models, DAX code, dashboards and reports.
  • Develop complex financial and operational data into clean, structured datasets that enable advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and reporting.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to validate data quality, test hypotheses, and measure business impact, translating findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Contribute to complex data analysis projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to support business decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data science, or financial analysis with focus on advanced analytics and data modeling.
  • Strong Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query (M), Fabric and dashboard design.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex financial modeling.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and financial database structures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings, and weekends, as needed. 

The estimated base salary for this position is $115,000.00 to $135,000.00 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This role is exempt meaning that it is not eligible for overtime pay.
