The Client Reporting Analyst will assist with the daily and monthly reporting of office, practice and client results to individual partners and other internal stakeholders of the Firm. This analysis helps the Firm make informed business decisions and better respond to client Requests for Proposal and budget estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely completion of month-end deliverables, including office, practice and client information
  • Prepare insightful written analysis of client, office and practice results to supplement reporting
  • Assist with preparation of presentations for the Executive Committee and other Firm committees, practice groups and client teams
  • Analyze profitability of matter budgets and unbilled time in advance of final client billing, as needed
  • Generate analysis and pricing models in support of new or existing client relationships
  • Work collaboratively with other professional staff to prepare internal and external presentations, and pitches for new or existing work
  • Review accuracy of matter practice coding and implement corrections based on Partner input
  • Preparation of monthly Client Reporting database reconciliation
  • Respond timely to analysis and information requests in a professional manner
  • Special projects, as needed

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of previous experience as a financial analyst or general accountant
  • College Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics; minimum GPA in major and overall 3.0, respectively
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Excel with intermediate PowerPoint skills
  • Strong financial and systems analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, self-starter; must be able to manage multiple, competing deadlines and prioritize work accordingly
  • Flexible to adjust hours to meet operating needs

 

*The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
